Di kalangan Injili, teologi agama, yaitu sebuah pandangan teologis Kristen terhadap agama-agama lain, tidak banyak dibahas. Di tengah-tengah kekurangan tersebut penulis mencoba memberikan kontribusi untuk membangun teologi agama dari perspektif reformed. Dari perspektif reformed, manusia adalah makhluk religius dalam pengertian bahwa ia secara narutal akan mencari Allah karena penyataan Allah secara umum kepada manusia. Tetapi karena dosa manusia, respon ini menjadi respon yang salah arah, respon kepada sesuatu yang lain selain kepada Allah yang benar. Namun, karena anugerah umum Allah, manusia tersebut tidak sepenuhnya hidup dalam kesalahan, tetapi dapat memiliki kebenaran-kebenaran relligius yang menjadikan kepercayaan mereka mirip atau serupa dengan Kristen.
