Teori Ras Kritis: Sebuah Contoh Konsep Keadilan Sosial Yang Asing Menurut Alkitab

Tidak semua ajaran tentang keadilan sosial adalah keadilan sosial menurut ajaran Alkitab. Ajaran teori kritis tentang rasisme (Critical Race Theory atau disingkat CRT) adalah contohnya. Ajaran yang belakangan ini banyak memengaruhi universitas-universitas di Amerika Serikat ini mempromosikan dengan gencar konsep-konsep seperti rasisme sistemik, binari sosial dan interseksionalitas, dan justru mengakibatkan keretakan sosial yang ditandai dengan kecurigaan rasial yang tidak pernah dapat diselesaikan. Dari sudut pandang Alkitab, ajaran teori kritis tentang rasisme mengandung konsekuensi-konsekuensi sosial yang merugikan kehidupan bersama di masyarakat. CRT mengajarkan sebuah pola pikir sosial yang bertentangan dengan ajaran Alkitab tentang keadilan sosial. Sesudah membahas latar belakang sejarah pemikiran CRT dan pokok-pokok ajaran CRT, penulis akan memberikan evaluasi terhadap CRT dari sudut pandang Alkitab dengan menyoroti titik berangkatnya, pandangannya tentang akar permasalahan dari rasisme, dan solusi utama yang ditawarkan.
