Menghadirkan Atribut Ketuhanan Sebagai Usaha Untuk Membangun Spiritualitas Umat Tuhan

Kevin Vanhoozer mengamati bahwa hilangnya imajinasi yang dimuridkan dan didisiplinkan oleh Alkitab, mengakibatkan orang Kristen mengalami keterputusan antara dunia yang mereka hidupi dan dunia teks Alkitab yang kebenarannya mereka percayai. Ada jurang antara kebenaran yang diketahui dengan praktik hidup yang dijalani. Kehidupan sehari-hari orang Kristen tidak memunculkan karakter kristiani yang seharusnya. Artikel ini berusaha menawarkan alternatif kontemplasi spiritual dengan menghayati tiga atribut ketuhanan, yaitu otoritas, kontrol, dan kehadiran. Menggunakan studi literatur, tulisan ini akan mengkaji pentingnya pemahaman teologi yang benar untuk membentuk wawasan dunia, yang melalui meditasi, kebenaran yang terinternalisasi dalam hati dan pikiran itu dapat terintegrasi dalam praktik kehidupan. Dalam tulisan ini juga akan ditunjukkan bahwa tiga atribut ketuhanan yang tak terpisahkan ini seharusnya juga terjadi dalam relasi antara pembina rohani dengan jemaat, karena sejatinya, spiritualitas itu terbentuk tidak hanya dalam pengalaman pribadi, tetapi juga dalam komunitas. Tentunya hal ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk menjawab tantangan di masa pandemi. Lewat tulisan ini diharapkan umat Tuhan dapat terbangun kehidupan spiritualnya, entah lewat meditasi pribadi, atau persekutuan bersama orang percaya lainnya, baik secara tatap muka ataupun virtual, dengan peran para pembina yang menghadirkan otoritas, kontrol, dan kehadiran dalam relasinya dengan jemaat Tuhan.
