Proposal-proposal terbaru tentang cara membaca narasi Perjanjian Lama secara etis muncul seperti udara segar di tengah kebuntuan metodologis yang sudah lama di dunia akademis. Namun, teori-teori berbeda tentang cara membaca narasi Perjanjian Lama, yang kadang bertentangan, menunjukkan bahwa ada lebih banyak pekerjaan yang harus dilakukan sebelum mencapai konsensus. Dalam artikel ini kita akan meneliti tiga karya tentang etika narasi Perjanjian Lama yang berpengaruh, membahas kelemahan-kelemahan dan kekurangan-kekurangannya serta mengusulkan cara yang layak untuk mendekati narasi PL secara etis.
