However, this book is not the latest in its approach—history, literature, and theology, for Mark Allan Powell has written the introduction to the New Testament (NT) in the same way. However, this book is unique. First, as a simple book or example for easy understanding (by a reader or sampler) about the thoughts of N.T. Wright. This is inseparable from Michael F. Bird's suggestion that Wright write an introductory book to the NT after Wright wrote many books on the NT. Second, this book aims to be a reliable and friendly book. Reliable because it was written to understand early Christianity; friendly because it is equipped with workbooks, online learning, video and audio materials, and a church-based curriculum. Third, this book attempts to avoid some of the common problems commonly presented in introductory NT books. If deemed necessary, this matter has been written carefully, briefly, and easily digested. When describing each of the books in the NT, it provides a brief introduction, discussion of important and contextual issues, outlines of the book, brief commentary, and tips for the application and further investigation.</p> ER -
