Arvin Gouw

Arvin Gouw is the founding CEO of Bacchus Therapeutics, developing small molecule inhibitors of cancer metabolic pathways. His work has been supported by the entrepreneurship program of SPARK at Stanford, MBC BioLabs, and AbbVie Inc. He is also vice president for research and development at the Rare Genomics Institute. Prior to Stanford and Harvard, Arvin did his fellowship in science and religion at Princeton. Arvin received his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, master's degrees in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania, in theology from SMSU Ecumenical Institute of Theology, and neuroscience from UC Berkeley. Now, he is an invited scholar at the Centre for the Study of Religion and Politics from the University of St Andrews, UK.
